Regulatory Compliance Analyst

Valletta Credit Finance Corporation Ltd is currently on the lookout for a motivated individual to join the Regulatory Compliance Team. By way of background, Valletta Credit Finance Corporation Ltd. is licensed by the Malta Financial Services Authority as a Financial Institution and offers its clients payments related services and is a principal member of VISA and Mastercard.

Within your role, you will form part of the Regulatory Compliance Team and reporting directly to the Head of Compliance. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Review of policies and procedures from a regulatory compliance perspective

• Assisting the Head of Compliance in the implementation of the Compliance Monitoring Program

• Acting as an internal contact point with other teams to assist with any regulatory compliance queries they may have

• Participating in Company wide projects and/or assisting as needed

• Help in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports to be submitted to the relevant authorities

• Assisting in investigations of potential compliance breaches

• Undertaking other tasks/duties which may be assigned from time to time

Talent Profile:

• In possession of a Banking or Finance degree that is duly certified at MQF level 6 or another comparable qualification relevant to the role

• Have a minimum of three (3) years working experience in the area related to the role

• Accuracy and precision in reviewing documents, policies, and reports

• Proactive in identifying issues and suggesting practical compliance solutions

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools

• A self‑driven individual who brings enthusiasm to the role and collaborates effectively with others to achieve shared goals
